How to get here
The Locanda del Cantoniere is on Dolomites State Highway 48 and is easily reachable by car or by public transport once you have arrived at Cortina d’Ampezzo.
The coaches of the Cortina Express and the Dolomitibus leave from Cortina bus station for the Falzarego and Giau passes, stopping near the Locanda, which is thus easily reachable even if you do not have your own means of transport.
Getting to Cortina by car
Situated in the province of Belluno, Cortina has good road connections with the most important cities of Northern Italy. It is reachable via the A27 motorway (Venice – Belluno) or the A22 motorway (Modena – Verona – Bressanone – Innsbruck).
Once you reach Cortina by car, to get to the Locanda del Cantoniere follow the indications for the Falzarego Pass along Dolomites State Highway 48. From the centre of Cortina to the Locanda takes less than 15 minutes.
Getting to Cortina by coach
The coach services of the Cortina Express provide transfer between Cortina and the nearest towns with routes to and from Treviso, Venice, Rovigo, Ferrara, Bologna and Milan.

Getting to Cortina by train
The nearest train stations to Cortina are those of Calalzo di Cadore and Dobbiaco, with coach connections for the arrivals and departures of the trains.

Getting to Cortina by air
The nearest airports to Cortina are Venezia Marco Polo, Treviso Canova and Bologna. Cortina Express services link Cortina with Venezia Marco Polo. In the high season, there are also links with the airports of Treviso Canova and Bologna.
Both Dolomitibus and Cortina Express have routes to the Falzarego Pass; in summer there are also buses to the Giau Pass.
