All types of snow shoes are easy ways of taking romantic walks in the woods, far from the crowds and the ski lifts.

Some of the most beautiful winter mountain walks at Cortina start around the Locanda del Cantoniere and are easily reachable by bus.

 

In the surrounding woods, on the slopes of the Giau pass, towards Croda da Lago or on the 5 Torri side, you can walk along the summer paths with their winter mantle of fresh snow.

And if you seek the thrill of a descent in the pure whiteness of an unspoilt cover of snow, you can ski down one of the various routes.
